Why is hitting animals not funny in America but it is everywhere else? I see commercials all the time where animals get hurt and it's pretty darn funny. Now they aren't really hurting them so it's not cruelty to animals. It's no different than when a comic takes a hilarious fall. So why are we Americans so uptight, why is it ok showing humans getting hurt but not ok to show the illusion of punting a kitten? Animals are not defenseless, how many people have died and been injured by dog attacks alone? I seen plenty of shows where kids are getting hurt so that argument is faulty too
